In light of all of the noteworthy things I’ve seen happen or found on the TV and Internet in the past few days, I’ve decided to write a post out of three of my random thoughts.

When I saw the news about the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s decision to cancel the Washington Redskins’ patent, I thought it was ridiculous.

Lewis Grizzard once wrote a column on how different life would be once the calendar rolled into the new millennium. The column, written in 1989, included his speculation on many issues like banks, health and air travel.
Sadly, Grizzard never saw the new millennium. I wonder what he’d think if he had.
