Sunsets interest me more and more every year.
Maybe because time feels fast and I’m getting closer to mine.
Most sunsets are good from anywhere, but if I have to pick a place near me it’d be Panama City Beach or some other white-sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
I’ve never been a beach bum.
Sand is hard to walk in, and sunburn’s not my favorite, but the beach has grown on me as I’ve aged.
There’s not a better place near me to watch the sun sink past the horizon, and sunsets are worth the work.
One thought on “Where is the best place to watch the sunset near you?”
Casey: Not an easy one. I have seen sunsets in over half of the United States, Japan, Iran, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, many more in Europe and Vietnam etc. If I had to name one off hand it would be Pea Ridge, Alabama where I met and married my wife.
