I’m good with almost any type of travel, but I think driving gives you more opportunities to sightsee.
When I travel in a car, there are multiple chances to see roadside attractions or other things you might miss from the air.
I like Atlas Obscura, and in a car it’s a lot easier to change plans on a dime than it would be on a bus or on the tracks.
That’s not to say I haven’t thought about hopping on a Greyhound to California, for the journey and the destination.
I’ve also enjoyed the unique views and fast travel times of flights, but the whole time I was in the air, part of me wondered what travel treasures I missed on the ground.
