When I was growing up, I had plans for my life.
They involved a good job, a lot of money and the rest of what society says is successful.
I think society is wrong.
Author and civil rights activist Maya Angelou said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
If you can make someone’s day or life better, I think that’s success.
I think there’s a lot to be said for kindness and treating others well.
If we focus on those things, we’ll succeed in making the world a better place.
