How are you brave?

This question is one with which I have always struggled.

Lately, the word, “brave,” has been thrown around in a lot of ways I’m not sure the original definition fits.

I know I don’t believe it fits me.

I just have cerebral palsy, which affects me in ways I’ve learned to live with, but in my case it doesn’t pose a risk to my overall health and for me it’s not life-or-death.

I believe there are people who face situations and are brave, but I don’t believe I’m one.
