I AM READY to start traveling again.
I like my paycheck so I’ll stay within a certain radius, but my wanderlust has returned and the list of places I’ll try to see has grown.
Most of the time, it is not hard for me to avoid crowds and stay distant when I travel.
I’ve learned a day trip to a new place can double as a chance to change the scenery on my walk, which I need to do from time to time.
I enjoy the opportunity to slow down and stay home.
I’d also like to get out and see some more of the world.
Once, while I was in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I ran into somebody who turned to traveling to make the best out of a bad situation.
I overheard a piece of his story at a bar in 2017, and I hope he made it back to a place like home.
This post is a response to Sue’s “traveling” prompt.
Casey: Having travelled over a good part of the US and the world my wife and I have seen many wonderful sights and made some great friends with whom me still correspond. Keep on traveling.
Will do! Happy birthday to Mrs. McCullough!
Casey: Mrs. McCullough says than you.
I am beyond ready to travel. I wish!
