[G]OOD PARENTS ARE a great blessing.
I know from experience.
My parents have shown me love, patience, kindness, understanding and great examples of how to live well.
They’ve taught me life’s tough lessons.
I didn’t always understand or appreciate those lessons when I was younger.
Now, I am grateful I learned them, and grateful to God for choosing to bless me with wonderful parents.
This post is a response to Sue’s prompt, which is, “parent.”

Casey: Amen!!!!!! What precious memories you will have all your life! My Father went to be with the Lord in 1994. My Mother in 1998. I thank the Good Lord for all the values my parents taught and demonstrated that are still with me at 85. Is it not interesting one of the Ten Commandments states “Honor your Father and Mother”?
The sacrifices parents make as well?!? Countless! Mine made many. We are grateful.
