[T]HIS POST WAS supposed to be different.
I’ve looked forward to it since Sue posted this week’s prompt words.
I formed the first sentence while I ate a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast.
It was not the first sentence you read.
It was a confession.
You’ll read it another day, because tonight’s prompt word is one I have strong feelings about for many reasons.
I think it deserves to be written when I’m not sleepy, when I’m more focused and when I can manage to put into it the thought I believe it deserves.
I’m not sure when you’ll read it.
I might write it and save it for a rainy day so it might be a while.
I woke up with the intent to put a day’s worth of thought into it, to write it and tweak it just as long as it took to say what I want to say how I want to say it, but I didn’t.
My attention was grabbed by more important things, events and people.
The weather was superb, and so was my breakfast.
Today was a great day.
It was a beautiful day.
This post is a response to Sue’s prompt, which is, “beautiful.”
Casey: YES, SO BEATIFUL! THANKS A MILLION!!!!!! YOU MADE MY DAY.
Everything happens, or doesn’t happen, for a reason.
I like your choice of breakfast!
