These are careful times.
From the second the news of the coronavirus pandemic broke, we have sought and soaked up information about a novel sickness.
We stayed glued to our TV screens and hung on every scrap of news about cases, curves and paths to a cure.
We paid attention to protocols and recommendations which ripped apart life as we knew it and redefined normal in an effort to slow the virus’ spread.
There was, and is, fear.
There’s fear of how contagious it is, fear from how little we know about it and fear from just how many lives it has taken in such a short time.
The more we have lived in this new normal the more I have realized all we can do is all we can do.
Wash our hands. Stay vigilant. Social distance. Wear a mask when you can’t. Protect yourself, and protect others.
Don’t let fear rob your fun and freedom.
Live, carefully.
This post is a response to Sue’s prompt, which is “carefully.”
Casey: Well stated. Keep up the good work.
Thank you.
Live, carefully! I like that.
